PREPARING FOR THE STEPS AFTER PURCHASING A HOT TUB

You did it!! You have purchased the hot tub or swim spa that is going to best suit your family. But what happens next? You have been so consumed with finding the right hot tub that you don’t know what to expect when it comes to delivery and installation.

We are going to talk about how RnR Hot Tubs and Swim Spas prepare you for delivery and installation. 

PAYMENT OPTIONS

We spoke about this a bit in a paragraph above about your budget. Before anything can move forward with your delivery and installation, we need to ensure that your hot tub is paid in full. There are many ways that you can choose to pay for your new hot tub from certified checks, personal checks, and even financing.

DELIVERY CHECKLIST

When you come in and pay for your hot tub, we will go through a delivery checklist with you. We will ask you a series of questions about your site location so that our delivery crew will know exactly what they are coming into when it comes to delivery. 

We will also ask for photos of the site so that our delivery crew can look at those prior to delivery. We want this process to go as smoothly as possible, not only for you but for our delivery crew. If you need help to determine if the site meets our requirements, you can have a complimentary site inspection done before the delivery. One of our technicians will come out and take photos and measurements. 

BOOKING YOUR DELIVERY

Once your hot tub is paid for and your delivery checklist is done, we will get your delivery on our calendar. You need to be home for the delivery of your hot tub. You will be asked to inspect it so that you know everything is in perfect condition before we install and start up your hot tub. 

Through this whole process, we will determine if you need a base built or if you need any electrical done. We do not do electrical work but we do have a company that we work with, Tuf Electric. We can provide this information for you to contact them. 

DAY OF DELIVERY

The day that you have been waiting for has finally arrived. RnR Hot Tubs and Swim Spas are going to deliver your brand-new hot tub or swim spa. For the day of delivery, you will receive a call from our delivery team when they are ready to leave. 

If it is a winter delivery, you need to ensure that you have at least a three-foot clearance of snow shoveled along the path we are taking. You will also need to make sure that the location where the hot tub is going is cleared of snow. 

If it is a winter delivery, you want to make sure that your hose is not frozen. Bring it in the night before so that it has a chance to thaw out. If your hose is frozen, make sure to have an alternate water source for us to use if we are starting up your hot tub. 

HOT TUB START-UP

Our delivery crew will also stay and start up your hot tub if you purchased a package that includes this service which we highly recommend. This means that they are going to fill it up and show you how to use your hot tub. There is a checklist that they will go through with you and you will sign it once completed. 

They will also ensure that your water is properly balanced so you can begin to enjoy your hot tub immediately. 

ATTEND SPA SCHOOL

If you buy a brand-new hot tub from us, typically Spa School is included. This is a one-hour workshop that will walk through water maintenance with you. We will share with you what steps you need to take to maintain your water. 

Spa School is an invaluable piece in our business. We take the confusion out of water maintenance with Spa School. This is something that you don’t want to miss out on. The sooner you take it after you get your hot tub delivered, the better.
